You obviously have a point there with the form , wings everything seems correctly done. and adding those little shiny stones, it gives glows and attention.
Another great thing it's the fact that all the feathers looks like individually made of, and that gave like a real air on the bird. Love it
About the impact, what can i say, look at that Eye, i love animals, and i have Parakeets, parrots, and more at my house so this really touch me at the moment i saw that eye and the way it's posing and everything.

I don't know what advice to give you, maybe the feathers at the bottom , you could smooth them a little more 'cuz the feathers down there are like softly . But what ever.
